Albert W. Gerdauskas, 94, died March 31, 2011 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Rosemary (Connors) Gerdauskas.

Born in Worcester, he was the last surviving child of 4 of the late John and Anna (Dolatkezicius) Gerdauskas and lived most of his life in Worcester before moving to Marlborough several years ago. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed for 20 years by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a voracious reader, life long Red Sox fan and enjoyed speculating financially on which member of the equine population could run the fastest.

He is survived by one granddaughter, Amanda Kinney, one great granddaughter, Shana Narcisse, one great-great granddaughter, Katrina Shuford and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park with Arrangements by William R. Short & Son Funeral Home, Marlborough.
