Albert R. Raymond, 68, of Leicester, died Saturday, April 7th at Autumn Village Nursing Home after an illness. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sheila T. (Hickey) Raymond of Leicester; two daughters: Lynn Marie and her fiancé Edward Phelan of Worcester and Lori A. and her husband Michael C. Gerber of Leicester; three grandchildren: Dylan, Erin and Michael, all of Leicester; two sisters: Betty Sukis of West Boylston and Rita Kapish of Holden and many nieces and nephews. A son, Richard J. Donnelly and two brothers: George Raymond and Wilfred (Ray) Raymond, predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Albert and Aldea (Gamache) Raymond. Albert was employed by Rand-Whitney Container Corporation for many years before retiring in 2001 and was a member of the Teamsters Local #170. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

The funeral is Wednesday, April 11th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour is from 9:00 until 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
