Albert E. Hendrickson, Sr., 74, of North Port, formerly of Worcester, MA died November 13 in Port Charlotte, FL.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Joan R. (Bourque) Hendrickson; four children, Albert E. Hendrickson, Jr. and his wife Marie of Smithfield, RI, Ricky Hendrickson and his wife Michele of Hardwick, MA, Guy Hendrickson and his wife Doralee of Millbury, Sheila Prendiville and her husband Patrick of Southbridge. He also leaves twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister, Irene Woods of Princeton, MA and a brother, Carl A. Hendrickson of Lillian, AL.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Carl E. and Florence (Rivers) Hendrickson and graduated from Classical High School. He belonged to the Mass. Army National Guard. Albert was a longtime roofer and a member of the Local Union #33. He was an avid square dancer and caller and line dance teacher.
Visiting hours will he held on Wednesday, November 18 from 5-8 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, MA. A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, November 24 at 11 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
