    Agnes P. (Riel) Berthiaume, 95, of Worcester died on Friday, May 1st surrounded by her loving family in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

    Mrs. Berthiaume's husband Rene Berthiaume died in 1972. She is survived by a son, Edmond R. Berthiaume of Auburn; two daughters, Ann I. Quinn and her husband Leo of Worcester and Judith A. Fitzgibbons of Londonderry, NH; a sister, Elizabeth B. Bresnahan of Shrewsbury; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

    Agnes was born on July 21, 1913 in Auburn, MA daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Stacy) Riel and is also predeceased by a son, Paul J. Berthiaume; two brothers, Adolphus Riel and Edward Riel and four sisters, Sr. Mary Bertholde S.S.A, Aleda Richardson, Sr. Irene Riel S.S.A. and Mary L. Farrell.

    She was a member of Christ the King Church and worked for the former Royal Corset Company as a stitcher before retiring many years ago.

    The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 5th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11 AM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Monday, May 4th from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Nursing home Patient Activity Fund, 300 Barber Ave. Worcester, MA 01606.
