Subscription Update Obituary

   Agnes A. (Burritt) Burbo-Hildreth, 82, of Waverly Street, Worcester, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves two sons, Elmer R. Burbo, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Krum, Texas, and Richard P. Burbo and his wife Lisa of Worcester; nine daughters, Nancy A. Burke and her husband Norman Sr., Shirley Plaud and her husband Ernest Sr., Marie Ames, Claire A. Baez, Sheila Colby and her husband Sidney Sr., Agnes Burbo, and Judith Richer and her husband Robert Jr. all of Worcester, Sandra Carey and her husband Benjamin, and Linda St. Germain and her husband Robert Sr. all of Spencer. She also leaves a brother Roland Burritt, Sr., and a sister, Doris Peters both of Worcester; forty-three grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer R. Burbo, Sr. and by a brother, Alfred Barrett. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur and Leah Burritt, and has lived here all her life.

   The funeral for Agnes will be held Thursday, February 22, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 21, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
