Adam A. “Chub” Adamski III, 64, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2015 in his childhood home in Auburn. He is survived by the family he adored, his mother, Lena “Lee” (Sbrogna) Adamski of Auburn, his sister, and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Glenn Pike of Spencer, a nephew, Ryan Pike and his fiancé Kelsey Lussier of Worcester, a niece, Shannon Pike and her fiancé Derek Shea of Oxford and two beautiful great-nieces, Autumn Shea and Sadie Pike. He also leaves and will be sorely missed by his many friends, which include the members of the Pike/DeLollis family of Auburn. Chub was predeceased by his father, Adam Albert Adamski, II., in 1988.

Chub was born in Worcester, raised in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School and Worcester Junior College. Chub had a passion for life. He loved skiing in Vermont and spent many summers in the Florida Keys working as a building supervisor.

In the 1990’s Chub purchased the Twin Brooks/Woodford Mall in Woodford, Vermont, where he rented snowmobiles and a small restaurant. Chub was an avid hunter and fisherman. In pursuit of those passions he travelled to Costa Rica, New Zealand and Ecuador to name a few. His true love was his more recently acquired 45’ fishing boat which hailed from New Bedford. He was able to spend a few summers enjoying “Chub’s Tub,” often taking family and friends along to share the beauty and tranquility of life at sea.

Chub shared his life and possessions with everyone around him.

There are no calling hours. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, MA. Donations in Chub’s memory may be made to Deerfield Valley Sportsman Club which sponsors programs for children in the outdoors, 641 Fowler Road, Whitingham, Vermont 05361. The Britton-Wallace Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Adamski family with arrangements.
