Subscription Update Obituary

   Joseph A. Gigliotti, Jr., 63, of Oxford Street, died Monday, November 10th in Saint Vincent Hospital, after a short illness.

   He leaves his wife of 39 years, Sandra J. (Eddy) Gigliotti; his two sons, Anthony J. Gigliotti and his wife Jennifer of Holden, and Jeffrey M. Gigliotti and his wife Lisa of Rutland; his two sisters, Paula McDonald of Worcester, and Mary Jane Alexander of Webster; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Peter Gigliotti. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph A. Gigliotti, Sr. and Josephine M. (D’Mario) Gigliotti and has lived in Auburn for almost 40 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in Vietnam and earning a service medal with a bronze star.

   Mr. Gigliotti worked as a driver for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority in Worcester for many years before retiring. He then worked as a driver for several years for Kessling Transport.

   Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn on Thursday, Nov. 13th from 4-7 PM. His funeral will be celebrated on Friday, November 14th from the funeral home with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Joseph Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Burial with military honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
