WORCESTER/WEST PALM BEACH, FL
   John A. “Duffy” Aldrin, 85, died suddenly while visiting family in Massachusetts on Sunday, July 31, 2005. His wife Florence (Gregory) Aldrin, died in 1995. He leaves a son, Carl A. Aldrin of West Palm Beach, Fl; a daughter, Sandra Sherwood of Douglas; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Joanne “Charlotte” Preston died in 2000.

   He was born in Worcester, son of Carl J. and Olga (Soderberg) Aldrin. Mr. Aldrin worked in construction for many years before retiring to West Palm Beach, Fl. He was a member of the Laborers Local 243 in Worcester since 1952 and a former member of the Belmont St. Baptist Church. He loved playing cards and visiting with family and friends.
