Subscription Update Obituary

   Gloria M. (Esteves) Lamorey, 79, of 505 Mill St., formerly of 48 Airlie St., a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, August 21st in the Coes Pond Residence.

   Gloria is survived by her devoted husband and partner of 60 years, Albert W. Lamorey; two daughters, Donna M. Fletcher and her husband Richard, Sandra G. Blanchard and her husband Roy all of Worcester; two brothers, Manuel Esteves of West Boylston, and Robert Esteves of Vero Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Keith, Kim, Ashley and Courtney; a great-grandson Jonathan; nieces and nephews. A sister, Isabel DeStratis, and two brothers, Alexander Esteves Jr. and Albert Esteves predeceased her. She was born in Brooklyn N.Y., a daughter of Alexander and Tillie (Freitas) Esteves, and has lived here most of her life. Gloria's family was her life. She devoted herself to being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her most precious moments were spent with them.

   Gloria worked as a receptionist many years for her daughter Donna at Val's Beauty Salon on Park Ave.

   The funeral will be held Thursday, August 24th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Rosary Church, 35 Fales St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Wednesday, August 23rd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Coes Pond Residence, care of the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas St. 01608.
