Subscription Update Obituary

   David G. Pickett, 68, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Tufts NE Medical Center, Boston. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Sandra M. (Clarke) Pickett, a brother Dennis A. Pickett of Rutland, and a nephew, Daniel Pickett of Holden.

   He was born in Worcester, son of George R. and Ruth I. (Germain) Pickett. David graduated from Millbury Memorial High School and The Central New England College. David was a US Marine, serving during the Vietnam War. He was very active with the Marine Corp. League and the Military Order of the Devil Dog in Worcester. He was also a retired Optician.

   A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.  Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. The family has selected Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester to direct arrangements.
