Subscription Update Obituary

     Ann Gauch McAuliffe, 79, of Paxton, died September 28, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Her husband, James H. McAuliffe Jr., died in 1986.

She leaves three children, James H. McAuliffe III and his wife Donna McAuliffe of Sutton, Mary E. McKeon of Worcester, and Kathleen E. Macera and her husband William P. Macera Jr. of Paxton, with whom she lived; a sister, Ruth Gauch of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Kate, Jessica, Ben, Kristen, Jaclyn, Laura, Nicole and Jimmy; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Evan, and Ella.

Ann was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest and Ruth (Tower) Gauch. She lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Paxton 20 years ago.

Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be private. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester 01606.

The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
