Subscription Update Obituary

     William D. Bourget, 73, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, November 3rd in his home with his family by his side. He leaves his wife of 31 years, Carolyn L. (Beaudoin) Bourget; a son, Scott D. Bourget of Worcester; two step-sons, Keith J. MacNeil of Worcester and Jason A. McNeil and his wife Vanny of Wolcott, CT; a brother, John Morin of Westminster; two sisters, Elizabeth Needham of Gardner and Judith Fregeau of Fitchburg; three grandchildren, Adrian, Cameron, and Nathan. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Raymond, Rita, Lorraine, George, Dorothy, and Elsie.

     He was born in Fitchburg, the son of Henry and Rosina (MacLellan) Bourget and graduated from Worcester Industrial Technical Institute and Chicago Tech. Bill was a civilian field service engineer for the U.S. Navy. His family would like to thank Aseracare Hospice, Dr. Steven Rozak and his staff for the compassionate care given to Bill during his illness.

     The funeral is Thursday, November 7th with a service at 10:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210 or the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
