Subscription Update Obituary

Wilfred W. Bishop, 82, of Terkanian Drive died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 in UMass Memorial Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 58 years, Jeannette A. (Paradis) Bishop, his daughter Nancy A. Bishop and her companion Mark LaPierre of Spencer, a brother George Bishop of East Brookfield, a sister Beverly Hickey of East Brookfield and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bishop was born in Spencer, son of George and Lillian (Cote) Bishop. He was a machinist for 20 years at Coppus Engineering retiring in 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed playing cards, Keno, reading and watching movies.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515 or to The National Kidney Foundation , 85 Astor Ave., Norwood, MA 02062.
