Subscription Update Obituary

     Shirley M. (Feola) Loconto, 81, of Green Acres Estates South Grafton, passed away July 10, 2007. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Tracey Loconto of Millbury; one sister, Margaret M. Fyrberg of Southborough; her former husband, Albert J. Loconto of Worcester; and two generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two siblings: Dr. Francise J. Feola and Gloria Philippo, both of Framingham.
    
Shirley was born October 30, 1925 in Old Forge PA, the daughter of Dr. Joseph V. Feola and Marie F. (Crotty). She was raised in Wellesley, lived in the Framingham, Newton area and then in Shrewsbury for 22 years, moving to South Grafton 11 years ago. Mrs. Loconto graduated from Wellesley High School in 1943 and MA School of Physical Therapy in Boston in 1947. She was a physical therapist at Grafton State Hospital for 18 years. She then worked for her brother, Dr. Francise Feola and his successor, Dr. Stuart Kigner in Framingham, until retiring in 1991. Mrs. Loconto was a parishioner of St. James Church in South Grafton, a member of The Grafton Ride & Drive Club, The MA Physical Therapists Association (former secretary), The Senior Citizens of Grafton, The Green Acres Association. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother while living in Shrewsbury.
    
All are welcome to attend the celebration of her Funeral Mass Friday, July 13th at 9:30 am in her Parish Church of St. James, 89 Main St. (Rt. 122A), SOUTH GRAFTON. She will then be laid to rest in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 12th from 4 to 8 pm in Roney Funeral Homes NORTH CHAPEL, 152 Worcester St. (Rt. 122 & 140), NORTH GRAFTON.
    
Flowers may be sent or memorial donations made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, PO Box 3704, Memphis TN 38103.
