Subscription Update Obituary

   Robert R. Boucher, 73, of 162 Ingleside Ave., died Friday, January 23, 2009, in his home.

   He leaves his wife of 48 years, Gloria (Chilberto) Boucher; a daughter, Roberta M. Rainey of Worcester; two grandchildren, Kayla M. Rainey and Todd M. Rainey; his mother, Emma Boucher of Rhode Island; two brothers and two sisters, George and Roland Boucher, Barbara Ellison and Sandra Chausse; his Godchild and niece, Gladys Barrett and her husband Shawn Barrett and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Noel Boucher and a sister, Shirley Hill. He was born in Southbridge. His father, Noel Boucher died in 1970.

   Mr. Boucher was a truck driver and foreman for Rome Building Products and worked there 27 years before retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Robert was a member of St. Stephen Church and graduated from Leicester High School.

   The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, January 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
