Subscription Update Obituary

     Mr. Robert “Bobby” J. Nelson, 62, passed away Friday, November 1st after a battle with cancer.

     Bobby is survived by his daughter, Angela Nelson; two brothers, Paul Nelson and his wife Pamela and Brian Nelson; a sister, Carolyn DiBaro and her husband Ronald all of Worcester; two cherished nieces, Tracy DiBaro, Tanya Joubert and her husband Michael, and his former wife, Diane (Bellino) Blanchard, and many, many beloved cousins.

     Bob was born November 6, 1950 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Harry V. and Marguerite(Sena) Nelson.

     A lifelong resident, Bob was educated through the Worcester Schools. He served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he began a thirty plus year career as a machinist at Wyman Gordon Company in Grafton.

     He was an avid car enthusiast, loved days in the sun, and never turned down a trip to the casino or a game of cards.

     His funeral will take place on Tuesday November 5th at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St Worcester. A funeral mass will follow at St John’s Church, 44 Temple St Worcester at 10:00am. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, November 4th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Funeral Home. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St. Framingham, Ma. 01701.
