Mary L. (Mossa) Lyons 76 passed away on November 30th 2012 after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Lyons Sr.
She is survived by her four children, Donna Leo and her husband Denis of Spencer, MA, Barbara Lyons of Trona, CA, Kathy Palmer and her husband Chris of Worcester, MA and Donald Lyons Jr. and his wife Debbie of Framingham, MA. She is also survived by three siblings, Phyllis Lavallee of St. Petersburg, FL, Eugene Mossa of Sutton, MA and Richard Mossa of Northbridge,MA. Also eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mary was born in Somersworth, NH daughter of the late George and Bernadette (Fields) Mossa. She is also predeceased by three sisters, Joanne, Shirley and Florence,two brothers George and Edward, a beloved granddaughter, Michelle.
Mary loved spending time with her cat Mitzy, making crafts, craft fairs and attending bingo. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday December 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m at St. John’s, 44 Temple St. Worcester, MA with burial following at Paxton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Food for the Poor.
