Subscription Update Obituary

     Marie M. (Jette) Berthiaume, 93, formerly of Howe Village, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at The Meadows of Leicester after a long illness.
     She was the wife of Lionel W. Berthiaume who died in 1995. She leaves her son Robert F. “Stein” Berthiaume and his wife Martha; a grandson Robert L. Berthiaume and his fiancé Alanna; granddaughter Alyson M. Russo and her husband David all of Spencer; great grandsons, Nicholas F. and Mason R. Russo; many nieces and nephews including two nieces Nancy Kemp of Leicester and Susan Martens of Pownal, ME, and a nephew John Mulhall of Spencer. She is predeceased by sisters, Frances Mulhall and Eleanor Collette and a great granddaughter Abigail M.Russo.
     Marie was a sales clerk at the former Hodes Supermarket in Spencer for many years, retiring in 1976. Previously, she worked at the former Gaudette’s Market in Spencer. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.
     Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Napoleon E. and Mary (Melia) Jette.
     Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 24 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to either the Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple St., Spencer, or the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147, Spencer, 01562.
