Subscription Update Obituary

     Lillian Rose (DeCristoforo) Pittorino, 92 of Webster, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in Webster Manor. Her husband, Anthony Pittorino died in 1998. She is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Wright and her husband Don R. of Charlton and Roberta Fopiano of North Port, FL.; two grandchildren, Richard Fopiano and his wife, Helena of Boynton Beach, FL and Stephanie Fopiano of North Port, Fl. The last of twelve children, she was born in East Boston a daughter of Ermilio and Rose (Claracuzzio) DeCristoforo.
     Mrs. Pittorino worked as a postal clerk at Warm Mineral Springs in North Port, FL before retiring. She attended St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. A devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed sharing her life with others. She was strong of mind but gentle of soul. She was a member of the “Silver Bells” of Christopher Heights of Webster and enjoyed dancing. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff of Webster Manor, Unit 1 and those of Christopher Heights of Webster for the care and compassion showed to their mother.
     The funeral will be held with a Mass at 11:00 a.m on Monday, December 3, in St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford, MA., from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, December 3, from 9:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Webster Manor- Resident’s Fund, 745 School St., Webster, MA 01570.
