Colonna and her husband Vito J. of Spencer; and four grandchildren, Robert Conway and his wife Michelle of Duxbury, Michele Gaudet and her husband Derek of Winter Garden, Florida, Carolyn Colonna and her husband Don Lancaster of Matthews, NC, and Vito Colonna and his wife Vickie of Spencer. Lillian will be dearly missed by her six great grandchildren, Amanda, Shannon, and Lindsay Conway, Kaya and Derek Gaudet, Jr., and Liliana Colonna. Lillian leaves her younger brother, Richard Moynagh and his companion, Irene MacLeod, of Worcester, and several nephews and nieces. Lillian was predeceased by two brothers, James and Paul Moynagh, and three sisters, Dorothy Moberg, Kathleen Lyden, and Virginia Finneran, and one grandchild, Debra Pimentel.

Lillian was born June 17, 1918 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late James and Lillian (Bousquet) Moynagh. She grew up, the oldest of seven children, on a farm in North Brookfield, which Lillian remembered fondly. She graduated in 1935 from North Brookfield High School where she enjoyed track and basketball. As a young woman she taught dance, including jazz, tap, and ballet, at her studio in the Spencer Sugden Block. She also conducted classes in Warren, W. Warren, and Brookfield. She studied dance in Worcester, Hartford, and Boston. She participated in and presented several minstrel shows in the area. She also was an accomplished piano player. After her marriage to Al, they settled in Spencer where she lived for 63 years. While Al was in the Army Air Force, they traveled to Missouri and Texas. Lillian was secretary for Sibley Farms and managed the Spencer Dairy Queen in the early 50's. She worked as a waitress at the Castle Restaurant in Leicester for many years before she retired. Lil was an avid candlepin bowler. In 1982 her Class A Ladies Team won the Mass. Bowling Assoc. State Championship. Lil won many awards and trophies and excelled at her sport. She participated in leagues at Bayberry Bowling Center in Spencer until 2006. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish in Spencer and enjoyed working in her beloved flower gardens, playing the piano, and following the Boston Red Sox. She was a wonderful cook and made the best apple pies.

Lillian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her friendliness, good humor and quick smile; her talent and hard work; her devotion to, and love for her family; and her belief in miracles.
