Subscription Update Obituary

     James J. Chabot, 86, of Worcester, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 2nd 2013. James is predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Marie M. (Gosselin) Chabot who died in 2008.
     Mr. Chabot is survived by his three daughters, Joyce Ashe and her husband Terrance of Homosassa, FL, Wendy Piner and her husband Thomas of Hamden, CT and Donna Starvaski and her husband Michael of Worcester; a brother, Robert Chabot of Leesburg, FL; a sister, Rita Edwards of Ware, MA; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Jim was born in Worcester, son of the late Leo and Florence (Rondeau) Chabot and is also predeceased by two brothers, Leo “Jerry” Chabot and Philip Chabot and a sister, Florence Archambeault.
     Mr. Chabot served in the United States Army and is a veteran of World War II. He retired from the Grafton Plant of the Wyman Gordon Company after many years of service as a forge inspector in 1989.
     At James’ request funeral services were held privately in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. and burial with military honors was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the VNA Care Network 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608 or to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
