Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen L. (Keyser) Henderson Richards, 88, of Goffstown, NH died on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.
     She was born in Westborough, the daughter of Mary (Wesson) and Lee B. Keyser. Helen was raised in Worcester and lived there many years before moving to Holden where she lived until moving to New Hampshire in 2007.
     Helen was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, William T. Henderson who died in 1973 and her husband of 13 years, Clarence S. Richards who died in 1997. Helen is survived by her children, Gail E. Flanagan and her husband John of Goffstown, NH and Richard A. Henderson and his wife Judy of Holden; her grandchildren, Kim & Brian Kreider of Holly Springs, NC, Bud and Bobbi Flanagan of Goffstown, NH, Cindy and Hap (Paul) Raps of Webster, Phil Henderson of Cape Coral, FL, Jill Harrington of Jefferson, Justin & Amy Henderson of Fitchburg and Crystal Henderson and Greg Mello of Sterling; 11 great-grandchildren, Emily, Riley, Cooper, Andrew, Emma, Devon, Brooke, Corey, Bearett, Leanna and Jameson; and many nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters and their spouses, Everett and Christine Keyser, Barbara and Ray Pierce, Dorothy and Bill Sullivan and Florence E. Lee.
     Helen was an avid knitter and crocheter who loved making many items for her family. She learned these crafts from her mother-in-law, Lora Henderson, whom she adored. She also loved to dance, play bingo, learned to drive a standard-shift car at age 60 and worked as a waitress in a coffee shop until well into her sixties.
     Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A private graveside service will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
