Subscription Update Obituary

     Edna M. (Wyman) Rutherford, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 in the Meadows Nursing Home in Leicester, with her family at her side.
      She is predeceased by three husbands, the love of her life, George A. Leveillee Sr, died in 1977. She also was married to Gerald Rutherford of Millbury and William O’Brien Sr.
      She is survived by two sons, James O’Brien and his wife, Madeline of Leicester and George Leveillee Jr. and his wife Pamela of Northbridge and a daughter, Rose Gilbert of Sutton, and a daughter-in-law, Patricia O’Brien of Leicester. She was predeceased by two sons, William O’Brien Jr. of Leicester and Walter O’Brien of Worcester, one daughter, Carol Ann Leveillee and a son-in-law David Gilbert of Millbury.
      In addition to six children, Mrs. Rutherford has sixteen grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
      She has two surviving siblings, Rita Richards of Sutton and Raymond Wyman of Spencer. Two siblings predeceased her, Albert Wyman and Bertha Suprenant.
      She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Wyman and lived in Leicester, Worcester and Millbury during her life time. She worked, but mostly was a home maker and enjoyed being with her large family. She spent time with her many friends, played bingo, enjoyed country music and traveling to Maine and Vermont to visit friends.
      Her calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2nd followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., all to be held in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01105.
