Subscription Update Obituary

     Daniel F. Sullivan, 84, formerly of Worcester, MA died Monday, January 21, 2013 in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD. His wife of thirty years, Catherine (Maleskas) Sullivan died in 2003. He is survived by his children, Mary Ann Parker with whom he lived, Donna Wood Chamberland and her husband Jeffrey, Carol Abraham, Thomas Abraham and his wife Sharon and Dennis Sullivan, all of Worcester, MA; fourteen grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; a brother, John “Jack” Sullivan and his wife Pauline of Holden, MA; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Irene Palermo. He was born in Worcester, MA a son of Dennis F. and Elizabeth I. (Kelley) Sullivan.
     Mr. Sullivan worked as a maintenance foreman for Worcester State (College) University for several years prior to retirement. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was an active member of the VFW Post 194, Salisbury, MD.
     The funeral will be held with a Mass at 11:0 am on Monday, January 28, 2013 in St. Peter Church, 931 Main St., Worcester, MA from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Food for the Poor, 44 temple St., Worcester, MA, 01604.
