Carolyn (Narva) Glancey, 72, died peacefully on March 28, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of Edwin & Lily Narva of Rutland, MA. Carolyn leaves her beloved husband of 42 years, Arlen Glancey of Barre; two daughters, Debi Waugh & her husband Thomas of North Brookfield, Robin Sisco & her husband Leonard of Spencer; a son, Paul Lucier & his wife Anna of Worcester; two step-daughters, Charlene Piccuci of Jaffery, NH and Sharon Whitney of Las Vegas NV; 16 beloved grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; cousins and her brother, Dale Narva & Kern of Rutland. She was predeceased by her sister, Diane Tourigny of Inglis, FL and a step-son, Mark Glancey of Barre.
     She graduated in 1959 from Wachusett High Regional High School in Holden and retired from GE Capital in Jacksonville FL in 2005. After retirement Carolyn worked for Van Pool in Barre. She enjoyed polka dancing, camping, boating, watching the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Athol/Orange Elks Club.
     Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours for Carolyn on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5-8PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S.Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 1PM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
