SANDRA O TURNER (PRATT)

Sandra O. (Pratt) Sanko,82, of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Jewish Home in Worcester.

She was the wife of John K. Turner, Sr. who died in 2023. She leaves her sons; Timothy Sanko and his wife Nancy of Leicester, Kevin Sanko of Spencer and Richard Sanko of Cherry Valley, stepsons; John Turner, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Spencer and Mark Turner and his wife Mary-Beth of Shrewsbury, stepdaughter; Cheryl Hull and her husband Brian of Dudley, brothers; Paul Jarvis of Holden, Richard Jarvis of Cherry Valley and David Jarvis of Charlton, her grandchildren; Matthew Sanko, Danielle Flanigan, Nicole Sanko and Adam Sanko, great grandchildren; Maeve, Ronan, Zeke & Maci, and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Bernice Jarvis. Sandra was a counselor for over 30 years at the Nazareth Home for Boys in Leicester, retiring in 2000.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Jan.28th at 12:30 p.m. at the Mausoleum at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nazareth Home for Boys, 77 Mulberry St., Leicester, MA 01524. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is directing arrangements for the family.
