William J. Crystoff, 96, a lifelong Jefferson resident, passed away peacefully at his son’s home in Mount Storm, WV. He was born in Holden, a son of the late John and Anna (Dominitis) Crystoff.

As a member of what is often referred to as “the greatest generation”, Bill began his life’s journey by attending Holden High School and the former Worcester Boys Trade School, where he trained as an electrician. He spent his working years as a union electrician for the I.B.E.W., working for several area electrical contractors. Bill proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. A true outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting and the tranquility and peacefulness those activities brought to him.

He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his son, William R. Crystoff and his wife, Vincenza of Mount Storm, WV; his daughter, Linda J. Pasquale of Rutland; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, John M. Crystoff; his brother, John F. Crystoff and a grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bill’s family on Saturday, May 21, from 9:30 – 11:00 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, with a prayer service to be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
