Subscription Update Obituary

     Wayne J. Rocheford, Sr., 78, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Ann M. (Krafve) Rocheford on November 27, 2016.

Wayne is survived by five children; Michelle Connor and her wife Ann Connor of Richmond, NH, Wayne J. Rocheford, Jr. and his wife Colleen of Charlton, Michael Rocheford of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jana Ceffalo and her husband Frank Ceffalo, Jr. of Worcester and Rene McCluskey of Worcester. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother Emil Rocheford of Indiana, two sisters, Debra Billings of Worcester and Joyce Morin and her husband Lloyd of Douglas, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother Gerald Rocheford and a sister, Diane Rocheford.

He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Emil and Esther (Kelly) Rocheford. Wayne worked at Wyman Gordon, retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed his summers in York, Maine, especially his time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by visiting www.alz.org.
