Subscription Update Obituary

     Virginia T. (Lambert) Sutter, 90, of Southbridge Street, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Joseph A. Sutter who died in 2010. She is survived by six children, Joseph E. Sutter and his wife Laura of Holland, Leo R. Sutter and his wife Donna of Spencer, Virginia A. Jermain and her husband Willis of Auburn, Deborah A. Miller and her husband Roger of Colorado Springs, CO, Marie M. Sutter of Auburn, and John H. Sutter and his wife Cheryl of Auburn; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Norwood who died in 2013; and three brothers, Arthur, Ernest, and Henry Lambert. She was born on March 19, 1926, daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Goneya) Lambert, and lived in Auburn since 1949.

Mrs. Sutter enjoyed caring for her family and her home. She liked knitting and jigsaw puzzles.

The family would like to thank all of her doctors and nurses from the VNA of Southern Worcester County for their exceptional care.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Mass Hospice, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501, or to Pet Peace of Mind, 1313 Mill St. SE, Suite 30, Salem, Oregon 97301.
