Thomas G. Brown, Jr., 76, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, Feb. 1st 2021.

Tom was born July 26, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of the late Thomas George Sr. and Helen (Rogers) Brown. He attended Worcester Schools and graduated in 1962 from Worcester North High. After graduating Tom entered the United States Air Force, working as a medic in Korea during the Vietnam era, an honor in which he was extremely proud of. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Tom continued his education by attending Salem State College, Salem MA, and Worcester Junior College.

Tom worked and retired from Crawford and Company as a lead insurance adjuster, he also taught this skill to others at Northeastern University. He also served his local community as a part-time officer on the Millbury Police Department, held various positions on the Millbury Board of Health, and most recently served on both the Disability and Veterans Committees.

Outside of work, Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Blue Knights, snowmobiling trips, tinkering on one of his many home projects, breakfast and shopping with his best friend Steve Davolio, hanging with friends at their local garages, scratching tickets, dinner dates with Millie, spending time with his grandchildren and always checking in on his daughters to see if they needed anything.

Tom lived life on his own terms. He was a dedicated dad first and foremost. He treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Puppa Brown. He had a heart of gold, always willing to help, and would talk your ear off – if you let him!

Tom is survived by his two daughters, Leanne Lebow of Millbury MA, Alisa Dauphinais, and her husband Chris of Whitinsville MA as well as four grandchildren Ison Lebow, Helena & Emily Dauphinais, and Cassidy Baracka. Also, Tom leaves behind his long-time girlfriend Mille Maziarski of Waltham MA, a brother Robert Brown of Grafton MA, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, close personal friends, and his beloved dog “Boston B”. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by a sister Nancy during birth in 1943.

Family is not always blood. It is the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile & who love you no matter what.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tom’s life with calling hours on Sunday, Feb. 14th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. His funeral service and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Easter Seals of Massachusetts 484 Main Street Worcester, MA 01608
