Subscription Update Obituary

    Stanley James Lysiak, Jr., 82, of Worcester, died Wednesday, February 3 after a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Marion R. (Ludvigson) Lysiak; two daughters: Janice M. Dumas of Worcester and Linda A. Kneeland of Auburn; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    He was born in Worcester, the son of Stanley J. and Viola (Maskie) Lysiak and graduated from Commerce High School. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Stanley was a Firefighter for the City of Worcester for 25 years. He started with Engine 2 on Southbridge Street in 1961 and retired from Engine 15 on McKeon Road in 1986.

    The funeral will be Monday, February 8 from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Visiting hours are Sunday, February 7 from 2-4 PM in the funeral home.
