Subscription Update Obituary

     Sherman W. Gundry, 71, of 7 Sunset Dr., died Wednesday, July 13 at his home with loving family by his side after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 42 years, Marion A (Foy) Gundry, two daughters; Trisha A. (Foy) McCormick and her husband Michael of Cherry Valley, Kelly A. Bergeron and her husband Norman of whom he lived with of Leicester, a brother, Ray Gundry and a sister Marlene Queally both of Worcester, 7 grandchildren; Michael, Angela, Jennifer, Joseph, Christopher, Samantha, McLain, 6 great-grandchildren; Anthony, Joshua, Julianna, Dominic, Braxton, and Lucas many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Walter Gundry and two sisters; Wanda Gordon and Kay Metallic.

Born in Barre, Vt. he was the son of Walter & Adelaine (Russell) Gundry.

Sherman worked as a machinist at Jefferson Rubber in Worcester for 10 years. Prior to that he worked 20 plus years at Parker Metal Corp

The family would like to send a special Thank You to Sherman’s home health aide, Jessica Laforest as well as Lisa Gamble.

Sherman enjoyed visiting the casino.

A Funeral Service will be held, Monday, July 18 at 11 A.M. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-7 P.M. in the funeral home.
