Subscription Update Obituary

     Ruth M. (Johnson) Baker O’Neill, 87, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, at her home in Baltimore, MD. She leaves her beloved stepdaughter, Patricia L. Weber and her husband Raymond of Baltimore MD; grandson Matthew Weber of Gaithersburg, MD; and her nieces, Ashley Ford and Samantha Fife, both of Washington state. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Arthur E. Baker in 1966 and Lt. Colonel (ret) Robert W. O’Neill in 2004. a brother, Raymond Johnson and a sister, Jacqueline Carlson.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Lavon W. and Anna L. (Brown) Johnson and lived there and in Paxton before retiring to Cape Cod. She later moved back to Worcester, before moving to Baltimore. She was educated in Worcester schools and worked for Parker Manufacturing for 30 years before retiring.
Relatives and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday February 8th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
