Subscription Update Obituary

     Ruth L. (Ford) Farraher, 81, of Carpenter Hill Rd., passed away on Monday, April 6th, in her home after an illness.
Her husband, Leo P. Farraher, died in 2006. She leaves her son, Glenn Farraher and his wife, Pam of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Carlos Maldonado, III, Michael Farraher, Robert Farraher, Allison Farraher, Aaron Farraher and Adam Farraher; a brother, Roger Ford of Southbridge; seven sisters, Ida Czyzewski, Dorothy Theodoss, both of Southbridge, Doris Boulet and Lorraine Pelletier, both of Ocala, FL, Rita Renaud, of Charlton, Leona Cournoyer of Ware, and Shirley Simpson of Southfield, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Ruth Maldonado, died in 2002. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Albert Ford, Russell Ford and Donald Ford and three sisters, Mildred Stanhope, Thelma Lamoureux and Beatrice Budrow. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Wilbert and Rose (Girard) Ford.

Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and travelling. She enjoyed yard sales and going out with her friends. She was also very fond of animals. Most of all she was a loving and caring, wife, mother and grandmother.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 10th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 1:00pm in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be private. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Overlook Care at Home Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, MA 01507.
