Subscription Update Obituary

Robert “Muff” DesRosiers, 55 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston after a period of declining health.

Muff was born in Worcester, a son of the late Robert G. DesRosiers and Mary Comeau. He graduated from North High School, Class of 1986 and has been a resident of Worcester all his life.  Muff worked for Better Electric as a mover for 20 years.  He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and self-taught motorcycle builder who built numerous Harley Davidson’s.  Muff loved to ride and road with many local clubs throughout the City of Worcester.

Muff is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Warren DesRosiers, Christopher Barbieri, Barbara Comeau and Dawn Morin all of Worcester; two step-daughters, Krystal Warren of Jefferson and Desiree Warren of Dudley and their mother Wanda Warren of Dudley; his step-mother, Donna DesRosiers of Millbury; three grandchildren, Audrey, Zachary and Lilliana; his lifelong friend, Pam Bombard of Spencer; his beloved cat, “Blair”; many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.  He is predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Richard and Ray Comeau.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4-7 pm immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will be at a later date.
