Richard Paul Reardon was the devoted and beloved husband of Carol (Morris) Reardon for 42 years. He was the devoted and beloved father of Catherine, Gail, Maureen, and Jennifer. He was the brother of Peter Reardon and Nancy (Reardon) Adams whom he and Carol raised upon the death of his mother, Catherine Gertrude (Sullivan) Reardon. He was also the son of the late Thomas J. Reardon. Richard served in the US Army achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He served with 7th Cavalry in the Korean War, and met Carol in Japan during that time. He received the Purple Heart. He was survived by Carol, Catherine and her children James and Jessica Nalewajk; Gail and her husband Ron and children Michael, Steven, and Timothy Alden; Maureen (who passed away 5/8/94); and Jennifer and her husband Derek and daughter Katherine. His granddaughter Amanda Speed predeceased him. Granddaughters Megan and Susannah Speed were born since his death but love “Papa” as much as their sister and cousins do. Richard was a devoted Catholic who lived his faith in everything he did. He will always be loved and missed. We were honored to be loved by him.
