Subscription Update Obituary

     Richard G. Robidoux, Sr., 77, of Leela Lane in the Rochdale section of Leicester passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Patricia L. (Carter) Robidoux, a son Richard G. Robidoux, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Leicester, two daughters; Karen J. Burnett of North Brookfield and Christine M. Setterlund and her husband Dennis of Jefferson, a sister Lorraine E. Tacy of Melbourne, FL, ten grandchildren; Paige Robidoux, Todd Burnett, Jr., Krystal Burnett, Kaitlyn Plasse, Koryssa Burnett, Kimberley McSherry, Jonathan Benoit, Allison Benoit, Brandon Setterlund & Ashley Setterlund, and a great granddaughter Victoria Lareau.

Mr. Robidoux was born in Worcester, son of Wilfred and Beatrice (Dumas) Robidoux. He graduated from Boys Trade in Worcester and attended Worcester Junior College. He was a machinist at Wyman-Gordon Co. in Worcester and Grafton for 50 years retiring in 2007. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the Air National Guard. He was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Parish and the Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and was an avid New England sports fan.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, April 13 in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pan Mass Challenge in Richard’s name.
