Subscription Update Obituary

     Rebecca B. (Langley) Cole, 82 of Lakeshore Dr., died Friday, Nov. 10 at her home.

She leaves her husband of 59 years, Gordon R. Cole, her son Gordon R. Cole, Jr. and his wife Katherine of Sturbridge, her daughters Sharalynne A. Fife and her husband Larry of Princeton, and Staci Cole of Spencer, her brother Benjamin F. Langley and his wife Pat of Ft.Lauderdale, Fl., daughter in law Theresa Cole of Laytonsville, Md., six grandchildren; Jonathan and Matthew Cole, Sonya Tarrant and Christopher Fife, Stephanie and Meeghann Cole, four great grandchildren; Elaina, Nolan, Daphne and Rebekah, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Andrew Cole in 2002 and her brother Roger Langley, Jr. in 2017.

Rebecca was a long time office manager for Medical Resources in Worcester, retiring in 1986. Previously, she taught in several area schools.

Born in Holden, she was the daughter of Roger F. and Beryl (Sweetland) Langley and later graduated from Barre High (1952) and Wheelock College in Boston.

She was an active member of the former St. John’s Episcopal Church and most recently a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Worcester.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 921 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer are Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St.Luke’s Memorial Fund, 921 Pleasant St., Worcester 01602 or Overlook Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, Ma.01507.
