Randall “Randy” May, 66, of Barre, passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on November 26th, 2021 after battling Pancreatic Cancer.

He was predeceased by his mother, Ruby, and his brother, Keith. He is survived by his wife, Jean, his daughters, Erica-May (Michael), Amanda and Olivia; his son Justin; his father, Norman; his sisters, Marilyn and Sherry (Lou); his brothers, Cliff (Lorraine) and Glenn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Randy was a man that made friends everywhere he went. His charisma, humor and faith drew people in, and his compassion made them stay. He was an avid hiker, hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, completing all 48 4,000 footers in NH. A true lover of the great outdoors, which he enjoyed sharing with his loved ones.

He was an Army Veteran that proudly served his country. Soon after, he began his 40-year career as a registered nurse in the operating room. He touched the lives of so many, and he will be greatly missed.

The family would like to take this time to recognize those who have helped lift our spirits and shoulder the pain of saying goodbye over the last few weeks. Please know that we will forever be grateful.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Randy’s family from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 3rd at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4th at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with burial and military honors following at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the White Mountain Collective, “In Memory of Randy May”, PO Box 26, Ashland, NH 03217.
