Subscription Update Obituary

     Pauline M. (Robillard) Grady, 81, of Worcester died peacefully at home on Friday, January 19th with her family by her side after a brief illness.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years James Grady; her five children, James Grady Jr. of Worcester, Robert Grady and his wife, Gina of Worcester, Tracy Houston and her husband, Paul of Auburn, John Grady and his wife, Melody of Worcester and Michael Grady and his wife, Jacqueline of Worcester; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nephews and nieces.

Pauline was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Oliver “Pete” and Lorette (Metivier) Robillard and is also predeceased by a sister, Claire Hawes. She graduated from Holy Name High School and also attended Anna Maria College where she studied music.

Pauline will be remembered as a kind and compassionate person who always put the needs of others before herself. She was the happiest when she was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Pauline had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the piano, knitting afghans and cake decorating when she was younger.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home with a Mass at 10AM in her life long parish, Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 22nd from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Pauline may be made to St. Peter’s Church through the “St. Vincent DePaul Society” 929 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610.
