Subscription Update Obituary

     Pauline L. “G-Ma” (Brown) Obert, 71, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, May 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 48 years, Joseph T. “Papa Joe” Obert, died in 2011. She leaves a daughter and best friend, Julie Anne Leite and her husband, Scott of Worcester; two sons, Joseph T. Obert, Jr. of Worcester and Christopher J. Obert and his wife, Patricia of Worcester; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Brown.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward and Irene (Millette) Brown and lived here all her life. Pauline attended St. Peter Marian High School. She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Church. She enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, but her greatest joy was being with her family and framily.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pauline’s family on Sunday, May 14th from 3:00 until 6:00 P.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral is Monday, May 15th with a Mass at 11:30 A.M. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
