Subscription Update Obituary

     Paul R. Tetrault, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Holden. He was born in Boston, the son of Joseph E. and Mary (LeBlanc) Tetrault, and had lived in Natick, the mid-west and Simsbury, CT before moving to Holden 11 years ago.

His loving wife of 36 years, Janet E. (Perry) Tetrault, passed away on April 3, 2007. He leaves three daughters, Jill Smith and her husband, Dana of Holden, Tracy McGowan and her husband, Scott of Wrentham and Beth Tetrault of Santa Monica, CA; his brother, Joseph Tetrault and his wife, Barbara of Canton, CA; three sisters, Rosemary Tetrault of Natick, Teresa Pratt and her husband, Dick of Marlborough and Dorothy Pagucci of Natick; 6 grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Tetrault.

Paul graduated from Natick High School and enlisted into the U.S Army in 1965. He was a Specialist 5th Class serving with First Army, Company C 5th Battalion 33rd Armored Division during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge from the service in 1968, Paul continued his education and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bentley College and later his Master’s degree. He worked for the Ford Motor Company for over thirty years before retiring in 2007. He was an active member of St. George’s Church in Worcester and enjoyed his prayer group and hiking, especially climbing Mt. Wachusett three times a week. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a loving and caring caregiver to his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 4th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral for Paul will be held on Friday, October 5th from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
