Paul John Layfulde Jr., 66, of Dudley, MA passed away Tuesday, November 15th after years of health challenges.
Born in Worcester, Paul was the son of Paul J. Layfulde Sr., and Gail (Hofford) Walkowiak. Paul held many occupations over the years, most recently as a Sales Associate for a local car dealership.
Paul is survived by his brother Gregory T. Walkowiak of Webster, his former wife and friend, Michele Dollar, of Ogdensburg N.Y. In addition to his brother and former wife, Paul leaves behind four children: Jaime Schlagenhauf and her husband, Ryan, of East Granby, CT; Erica McKenna and her husband, James, of East Granby, CT; Melissa Layfulde of Barkhamsted, CT and Joshua Layfulde of Winsted, CT; 14 Grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
His love of animals and his kind, simple, and fun nature will be passed on for generations to come. His memory will live on with those who knew him.
Graveside services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, MA will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Rd, East Brookfield, MA. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
