Subscription Update Obituary

     Patricia M. (Kenny) Shong, 72, of Auburn died Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Life Care Center of Auburn surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of Leroy W. Shong; cherished mother of, Michael J. Shong and his wife, Darline Shong of Dudley, MA, Tracey L. Plante and her husband Daryl P.J. Plante, Sr. of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Steven L. Shong and his wife, Jennifer Shong of Chandler, AZ; best friend and sister to Jodie Zerbo of Oxford, MA, cherished sister to the Late Timothy Kenny of Rockville Center, NY, and Brian Kenny of Rockville Center, NY. Loving grandmother to Christopher Shong of Thompson, CT, Michael Shong of Dudley, MA, Ryan Shong of Palm Bay, FL, Devin Ernst of Dover, DE, Daryl Plante, JR. and Danielle Plante of Fuquay-Varina, NC, McKenzie and Rylee Shong of Chandler, AZ, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late James J. Kenny and the late Edna (Kreiger) Kenny-Walsh.

She retired from Digital Equipment Corporation in Hudson, MA after over 20 years of service. She then went on to work for Viatech Publishing in Worcester, MA for 8 years before fully retiring at the age of 66.

Patricia enjoyed scrapbooking, cross stitching, pixel art, knitting, and crocheting. She relished weekly card night with the ladies. Patricia was known for being an avid reader which all who knew her can attest to based on her mini home library. She especially loved spending time with her family. She would also like us to set the record straight for her: Brady is innocent!!

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family on Friday May 22, 2015 from 6-8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St, Auburn.
