Subscription Update Obituary

Patricia Anne (Navis) Willette of Charlton, formerly of South Weymouth and Paxton; age 90, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024 with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Boston, MA on March 12, 1934. The daughter of John and Margaret Navis.

Patricia graduated from Braintree High School and subsequently went on to study at Boston University and later Bridgewater State University. She married Frederick Willette and they were happily married for 72 years. Patricia was a devoted mother to her four children. She taught kindergarten in South Weymouth and then later went on to have a successful career as a real estate broker. Pat and Fred loved listening to music and dancing together. They enjoyed time together at their Cape house. Pat was a life-long learner and an avid reader.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Frederick Willette of Charlton; 4 children, Frederick Willette, Jr. and his wife, Susan Young Willette of Cohasset; Deborah Willette Adner and her late husband, Dr. Marvin Adner of Newton; Steven Willette and his partner, Susan Duplisea of North Brookfield and Pamela Willette Boudreau and her husband, David Boudreau of North Brookfield. She was the loving grandmother of Mathew and his wife Victoria, Michael, Nicholas and his fiancé Bri, David, Julia and great-grandmother of Audrey. Pat is also survived by her cherished brothers, sisters and cousins, as well as close friends Janet Dryden and Jeannine Slauson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Shrine of St. Jude where Patricia donated for many years to better the lives of others.
