Subscription Update Obituary

     Patricia Ann (Boyden) Smith, 72, of N. Grafton, daughter of the late James and Rita (Dore) Boyden and 56 year resident of Westborough passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David F. Smith; her son Scott Smith and his wife, Beth and her daughter, Amy Smith and her husband, John Ayotte. She was a loving Nana to her five grandchildren, Michael Smith, Nichole (Smith) Parker, David Smith, Ryan Smith and Bradley Smith. She also leaves behind her best friend and loving sister, Linda (Boyden) Brady and her husband Ronald; brother, Michael Boyden and his wife, Sandra and sisters, Lila, Rita and Janet; also a number of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Pat was predeceased by her son, David F. Smith, Jr. and brother, James D. Boyden, Jr.

Pat was a member of the Women of St. Luke’s and St. Luke’s Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was devoted to her family whom she loved to cook for. She also enjoyed her time spent at the cottage in Rutland.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 29, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Calling hours at the David A. Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Sunday, February 28, from 2 to 5 P.M.

Flowers are welcomed or donations in Pat’s memory may be made to “Be Like Brit”, 66 Pullman St., Worcester, MA 01606.
