Subscription Update Obituary

Patricia A. (Doyle) Richmond, 87 of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by her beloved family.

Patricia was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Daniel and Alice (Ormond) Doyle.  She graduated from Commerce High School.  Patricia then worked for New England Telephone Company and later Riley-Stoker Company as an office assistant for many years. She and her husband were the owners of the former Pat’s Spa in Rice Square for many years.  Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved her family dearly and they were the most important to her.  In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed crafts especially making doll houses and crossword puzzles.  She loved watching Wheel of Fortune every night whether it was alone or with her family.  No one could beat her.

Patricia will be dearly missed by her husband and the Love of her Life for the past 65 years, Donald E. Richmond, Sr.; two sons, Donald E. Richmond, Jr. and his wife Susan of Worcester and Daniel J. Richmond of Auburn; three daughters, Diane Manzello and her husband Stephen of Worcester, Deborah Belinskas and her husband Frederick of Mechanicsburg, PA. and Denise Richmond and her significant other, Robert Landry of Auburn; a brother, Daniel Doyle of South Carolina; a sister, Mary Bottiglio of Maine; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great grandchild due in February; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is predeceased by an infant daughter, Deborah Ann Richmond; a sister, Frances Abbascia.

Calling hours for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, November 24th from 10 am to 12 noon with her funeral service at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
