Milton F. “Bing” McBride,83, died Monday, June 1,2015 at home with his family.

He leaves his wife of 62 years Pauline C. (Philippon) McBride; 3 daughters Susan Laquerre & her husband Philip of Spencer, Mary Ann McBride of San Diego,CA.,Patricia McBride of Worcester; a sister Harriet White of Rutland;3 granddaughters Holly St.Jean & her husband Erik,Elizabeth Mulcahy & her husband Christopher and Jacquelyn Gould & her husband Steven; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

He was born in Mapleton,ME. the son of Harry and Bertha (Rockwell) McBride. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded 3 Bronze Stars. Milton was a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Local 170 for many years until he retired.

Milton was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, boating,snowmobiling and skiing. He was also an avid race car fan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday,June 5,2015 at 1:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 163 Main St. Spencer. Calling hours will be held form 11:30- 1:00PM.prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date with military honors in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Donations may be made in his memory to VNA Care Network & Hospice 120 Thomas St. Worcester,MA.01608.
