Subscription Update Obituary

     Mildred T. (Roy) Snow, 89, of Worcester died peacefully on Sunday October 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family and friends.
She leaves her husband, Paul P. Snow; three sons, Randy P. Snow and his wife Paula of Dudley; Gary P. Snow and his wife Diane of Worcester and Paul P. Snow, Jr, of Worcester; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, Matthew, Nicole, Daniel and Stephanie, four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Arianna and Ava as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Norman, Francis and Richard Roy and two sisters, Eleanor Rainos and Claire Bjorkman. Mildred was born in Worcester, a daughter of Amos and Eva (Thibeault) Roy and has lived here all of her life.
Mrs. Snow was a Nursing Home Activities Coordinator for twenty years for various area nursing homes and retired many years ago. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School. Mr. & Mrs. Snow celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on September 14th. Mildred was an avid painter and also worked with ceramics. She enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. She was also an avid Red Sox fan and along with her husband Paul have a brick in Centerfield at Fenway Park with the listing “Fans Forever”.
The funeral will be held on Friday October 21, 2016 at 11 : 00 A.M. in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Friday October 21, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Healthcare Hospice, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, Ma., 01609 or to Veterans Shelter, Veterans Inc, 69 Grove St., Worcester, Ma., 01605.
