     Micheline “Mimi” (Quidoz) Brisson, 70 of Worcester a devoted mother, grandmother and sister, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Micheline was born in Montreal, Canada, one of four children of Gerard and Jeannette (Gratton) Quidoz. She was raised and educated in Canada then moved to the Worcester area in 1967 where she raised her family. Micheline worked at Umass Memorial Healthcare for 35 years holding several positions before retiring as a Charge Master Analyst in 2012.

Mimi is survived by her two devoted daughters and their husbands, Nathalie Oliveri and her husband Anthony of Worcester, Josee Brisson-Jose and her husband David of Auburn; four cherished grandchildren whom she loved to spoil and lovingly called her “grand maman”, Dominique and Nicholas Jose, Sophia and Anthony “AJ” Oliveri; her sister, Helene Doucette of Charlton; brother, Jacques Quidoz and his wife Maggie of Ottawa, Canada; her sister-in -law, Brenda Quidoz of Fitchburg; nieces, nephews as well as extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Micheline was predeceased by her brother Louis Quidoz on November 7, 2015 and brother-in-law, Robert Doucette on November 3, 2014.

Micheline’s children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She was the backbone of her family and remained dedicated and devoted to them throughout life’s challenges especially during her courageous battle with Cancer. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts. Her loving and caring soul will never be forgotten by those who loved her. She loved spending time with family and friends at her summer home in Maine. She enjoyed going to the beach with her grand children, getting lost in her romance novels, playing board games and teaching her grandchildren how to play cards. She also cherished her time spent in Sarasota Florida with her sister and their friends.

Micheline was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Friday, January 6th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 7th from the funeral home with a procession to Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, where her celebration of life mass will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrance’s in her name can be made to the, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168
